Description
This dreamy print is of two large, male polar bears sparring on the shores of Hudson Bay in golden light. This polar bear was photographed in 2014 while I was in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. I had several days on the tundra with these magnificent bears, and it was a moving experience. To be able to photograph them in the wild was an experience of a lifetime. The bears congregate on the shores of Hudson Bay in late Fall to wait in anticipation for the ice to start melting so they can hunt ringed seals. The seals are one of the polar bears favorite meals, due to its high fat content.
Printed square format on canvas.
