“Keyser Söze”- Limited Edition 250- Great White Shark
This photo was taken off Guadalupe Island in 2021, during a underwater shark dive. For 3 days we were in cages and experienced these massive sharks up close and personal. I love everything about this photo. The mouth, the fin out of the water, the surface reflection, and the movement of the water. This is an amazing print on canvas or acrylic, and can be printed up to 48 x 72 inches.
Who Is Keyser Söze? This was the first shark that I positively identified. It was verified by a crew, and found in the MarineCSI Guadalupe Island White Shark Field Guide.
The white line on a great white shark’s side is similar to a fingerprint of a human, and each side is different. I was able to identify Keyser here from his line.
He appeared from the depths with two pilot fish, “And just like that…he’s gone” -quote from the movie The Usual Suspects.
